A leading food manufacturer is seeking a
Quality Manager
to take full responsibility for quality systems, food safety compliance, and technical standards across its operations. This is a senior role offering leadership responsibility and a key position within a growing business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and maintain the Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with HACCP and customer standards
* Oversee staff training, internal audits, and compliance reporting
* Manage food safety, quality, and customer specifications for all products
* Approve labels and artwork for compliance with food legislation
* Investigate and resolve customer complaints, implementing corrective actions
* Manage product and environmental testing and report performance trends
* Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare for audits and inspections
* Provide technical support to production teams and supervise lab operations
* Stay up to date with relevant food safety legislation and update processes as required
What You'll Need:
* Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
* Proven experience in a senior quality or technical role within the food sector
* Strong understanding of HACCP, BRC, and food law compliance
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
