PE Global is working with a tier 1 contractor operating across infrastructure, building, and property development sectors, handling projects like roads, bridges, hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings. We are recruiting for a Design Coordinator to join our building team in Limerick.
The successful candidate will ensure that the design aligns with project requirements, budget, and timeline, while minimizing conflicts or errors during construction.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Engaging with the Design & Build (D+B) Design Team and other team members in a purposeful and organized manner.
2. Completing and issuing MTS’s (“RDD”) to the client (Department of Education) TA’s / MDTT.
3. Ensuring all MTS / TS comply with GWR, SSWR, and contract documents.
4. Overseeing the D+B DT’s issuance of Design Submissions and Designer Checklists via Autodesk (ACC) CDE.
5. Managing site Benchmark Mockups / FoK’s, recording and uploading reports.
6. Verifying subcontractor/supplier documents such as DOPs / CE markings.
7. Completing design sections of bi-weekly contractors' progress reports.
8. Coordinating and monitoring design development from concept to construction.
9. Liaising with architectural, façade, and other subcontractors to ensure design integration.
10. Chairing and managing design team meetings.
11. Overseeing façade system designs from concepts to details.
12. Reviewing and coordinating subcontractor drawings.
13. Managing information flow through Autodesk platforms.
14. Resolving clashes with M&E, structural, and architectural designs.
15. Tracking and managing design submittals, RFIs, and approvals.
16. Coordinating mock-ups, samples, and material selections.
17. Ensuring compliance with Irish Building Regulations, BCAR, and façade standards.
