Job Description:
A highly skilled Group Accountant is sought to play a crucial role in group-level consolidation, technical accounting matters, audit prep, and finance transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of IFRS and understanding of SOX requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the monthly group consolidation and close process under IFRS
* Act as the bridge between onshore finance and the offshore team in India
* Assist with technical accounting areas including IFRS 2 (Share-Based Payments), IFRS 16 (Leases), and complex debt instruments
* Support both internal and external audit processes
* Ensure compliance with SOX controls and Group accounting policies
* Provide backup for key offshore processes when needed
* Contribute to finance transformation and system/process improvement projects
What You'll Bring:
* ACA-qualified (or equivalent)
* 1–2 years' PQE, ideally with PLC or group audit experience
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and understanding of SOX requirements
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and the ability to work independently
* Experience with ERP or consolidation systems
* Previous in-house experience in a listed group finance environment
