A rapidly expanding, Ireland-headquartered organisation delivering complex infrastructure projects across Europe is seeking to appoint a Tax Manager as part of its continued growth.
With operations spanning multiple European jurisdictions and a strong project pipeline, the business is creating this new role to support increasing scale and complexity.
The Opportunity
This is a newly created, high-impact position offering the opportunity to build and shape the tax function across Ireland and Europe. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will take ownership of tax compliance, advisory, and strategy while partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business.
You will play a key role in establishing robust tax processes, supporting international expansion, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee corporate income tax compliance across Ireland and Europe
Ensure all tax returns are completed accurately and filed on time
Partner with senior management on global mobility-related tax matters
Manage tax audits and respond to internal and external tax queriesAssist in the preparation of local and master transfer pricing documentation
Monitor and interpret changes in relevant tax legislation
Conduct ad hoc tax research and provide commercially focused insights
Build, develop, and scale the internal tax capability as the business grows
Skills & Experience
Professional tax qualification (AITI/CTA or equivalent), ideally combined with an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
Relevant post-qualified experience within a Big 4 / Top 10 firm and/or multinational environment
Strong technical knowledge of tax accounting, compliance, and audit processes
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated track record of achievement and continuous professional development
