Reporting to the Head of Advice Support Unit, your task will be to provide technical research services to the team of Certified Financial Planners, and to ensure that the preparation of client advice reports is of the highest standard and delivered efficiently. You will also play a major part in mitigating any risks to the business, and support the business in achieving its goals.

Your key accountabilities will include:
* Accurately preparing suitability reports and letters to target deadlines
* Ensuring all client reports are compliant and supported with relevant paperwork
* Undertaking comparative research in preparation of client recommendations
* Understanding clients overall financial position from supplied fact finds
* Discussing client objectives with the relevant Certified Financial Planner, identifying and obtaining necessary client information to prepare the necessary suitability checks
* Ensuring all queries are appropriately investigated and accurate responses given
* Develop and maintain excellent day to day relationships with advisors to maintain a collaborative working environment
* Ensuring that all customer advice activities maintain the highest levels of integrity and compliance, and are undertaken in strict compliance with regulatory obligations, including the principles and data security requirements underpinning GDPR.
We're looking for someone who:
* Holds a QFA or related qualification
* Has at least 5 years' relevant experience within Financial Service / Insurance, with a clear understanding and technical knowledge of customer financial advice
* Has strong report writing skills
* Is diligent, and has a great eye for detail
* Communicates clearly and effectively, and knows how to influence others
* Can work efficiently and effectively with the rest of the team on shared goals
* Has spot-on analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
* Holds additional Qualifications such as the Grad. Dip in Financial Planning or Diploma in Tax (as a bonus)

Fitness & Probity
This role falls under the MCC, and it is a 'controlled function' (CF4) as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Appointing a successful candidate will be conditional on the company completing prescribed due diligence to assess the appointee's fitness and probity to meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity standards issued by the Central Bank.
