Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee day-to-day site activities with a focus on reinforced concrete frame packages. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing site works, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Supervise the installation of foundations, vertical elements, horizontal elements, slabs, and cores as part of reinforced concrete frame projects.
* Coordinate the work of subcontractors, tradespeople, and direct labour forces to meet project timelines and quality standards.
* Enforce health and safety protocols on-site, guaranteeing adherence to company and statutory requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of site progress, productivity, and sequencing of works, reporting directly to the Project Manager.
* Liaise with the design team, engineers, and client representatives to resolve technical and buildability issues.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience working as a General Foreman or Site Manager on reinforced concrete frame projects up to mid-rise level.
* Demonstrated knowledge of temporary works, formwork systems, and sequencing techniques.
* Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage large teams and multiple trades.
* Up-to-date understanding of Irish construction regulations, health and safety protocols, and QA systems.
* A trade or engineering background, preferably in carpentry, concrete, civil/structural fields, is highly desirable.
