About the job:
We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic, hard-working candidates to join our team:
* Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and mechanical systems (e.g., pipework, heating, drainage, and water supply systems)
* Learn and apply plumbing techniques under the supervision of qualified plumbers
* Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
* Comply with health and safety standards on all job sites
* Use and maintain hand and power tools
* Participate in on-the-job and off-the-job training as part of the SOLAS plumbing apprenticeship programme
* Work both independently and as part of a team across a variety of job sites
Do you have what it takes?
* Must be registered or eligible to register for the SOLAS Plumbing Apprenticeship Programme
* Leaving Certificate or equivalent is preferred (not essential)
* Strong interest in plumbing and mechanical services
* Willingness to learn and take direction
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
* Full clean driver's licence is an advantage but not essential
* Safe Pass & Manual Handling certificates essential
