SimoTech requires a Senior DeltaV Automation Engineer to join our team, supporting a multinational pharmaceutical client of ours in a state-of-the-art biotechnology site in Cork.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar position.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configuration, and testing of DeltaV software including graphics, control modules, equipment modules, and phases.Design, configuration, and testing of the batch layer on DeltaV.Oversee design, configuration, and testing activities of other project team engineers.Commissioning of new equipment.Provide production support on DeltaV issues.Execution of change controls.Provide project status updates to management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or the Life Sciences.5+ years' experience working with DeltaV software.Previous site commissioning experience on a pharma or biotech batch automation project.Strong knowledge of S-88 Batch standard.Good understanding of GAMP.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills required.Ability to work well within diverse, multi-disciplined teams.What SimoTech Can OfferRole provides a high degree of autonomy to allow the successful candidate to reach their full potential.Develop new skills and enhance technical ability by working with innovative technologies in a multi-disciplined environment.Opportunity to work with large corporate clients on exciting capital projects.
