The successful candidate will lead the weddings & social events department, driving sales, planning luxurious events, overseeing budgets, and ensuring seamless execution.

Overview of Role:
Client Consultation & Planning
* Respond swiftly to wedding enquiries, adhering to brand standards
* Meet with clients (in-person or online), understanding their vision and budgets
* Create detailed proposals: timelines, floor plans, menus, communication schedules
* Act as the primary liaison from booking through post-event follow-up
Sales & Marketing
* Generate new business domestically and internationally
* Represent Dromoland at bridal fairs, expos, and networking events
* Collaborate with the Marketing team on sales collateral and digital outreach
Budgeting & Forecasting
* Create and manage departmental budgets
* Monitor expenses and revenue to maintain cost-efficiency
Compliance & Risk
* Develop risk-management plans and safety procedures
* Secure necessary permits and insurance for all events
Operations & Coordination
* Lead and coordinate weddings with internal teams and vendors
* Oversee day-of event handover with Operations team
* Compile post-event reports on performance, feedback, and financials
The Ideal Candidate:
4+ years' experience in wedding/events sales at a 4- or 5-star hotel
* Proven expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and proactive/reactive sales
* Exceptional client-facing skills, with meticulous attention to detail
* Leadership qualities with experience managing teams and cross-departmental coordination
* Knowledge of hospitality CRM/OMS systems and Microsoft Office suite
* Flexibility to work weekends and participate in off-site events
