THE POSITION Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and forming part of the Senior Management Team, the Head of IT will lead and manage all aspects of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) across Enable Ireland. The Head of IT will provide strategic leadership to ensure that IT systems support the effective delivery of high-quality health and social care services, comply with HSE and statutory requirements, and enable digital transformation for all Corporate and income generation services. The Head of IT will also ensure the security, resilience, and performance of all ICT infrastructure, applications, and services across the organisation. REQUIREMENTS Suitably qualified and interested candidates will be operating at Director level or in an equivalent senior management role, with an exemplary track record in IT leadership, team management, and business transformation or large-scale change and project management. The Head of IT will have demonstrable experience in managing ICT infrastructure, health information systems (e.g., PAS, EHRs), and data security in regulated environments. A proven track record in delivering digital transformation projects within budget and in line with strategic objectives is essential. Experience within a large not-for-profit, public sector organisation, or a private health or social care service provider is also required. Core competencies required to be successful in this pivotal role include: strategic vision; leadership; managing relationships; critical thinking and decision making; change management; communication and influencing; business and financial acumen.
