The role
You will be responsible for carrying out a full range of mechanical and diagnostic work to manufacturer and dealership standards, with a strong focus on efficiency, accuracy, and getting it right first time.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out work as outlined on job cards with efficiency and accuracy
Diagnosing faults and completing repairs following approval from the Service Manager or Advisor
Performing vehicle health checks and video health checks where required
Communicating with parts and service departments to ensure smooth workflow
Advising the service team promptly of additional work, delays, or issues
Road-testing vehicles to ensure quality of work
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized working environment in line with company standards.
The Ideal Candidate
Fully qualified Motor Technician, essential
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
Proven experience using diagnostic systems
Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
