Hays has been retained to recruit a CAD/Revit Technician for our client, who is an established Engineering Consultancy based just outside of Cork City.
Your new role
This role will involve working within our client's design team, handling a variety of responsibilities:
1. Preparation and presentation of drawings and design outputs.
2. Development of detailed infrastructure design drawings using Revit/AutoCAD software including detailed structural drawings.
3. Production of Drainage/Utility/Service Drawings including:
- Stormwater Design
- Foul Sewer Design
- Watermain design
- Bulk Earthworks & Levels
- Lines/Signs and Traffic Calming (within residential development) – DMURS Compliance
What you'll need to succeed
4. Experience in leading the drafting of civil engineering site development drawings for both design and construction projects (primarily residential projects ranging in scale from 50 to 500 units).
5. Knowledge of the requirements of the Irish planning system especially with regards civil design.
6. Knowledge of both Revit and AutoCAD.
7. Work independently without needing significant help from others, and provide guidance and support to other members of the team.
8. Assume ownership of work, and work with project engineers to ensure timely delivery within budgetary constraints.
9. Efficient work methods, working both as part of team and on own initiative.
10. The ability to manage several priorities at once will be required as well as a high level of commitment to success.
11. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are required.
