SRE ****** Desired skills: Dublin, SRE, AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform Senior DevOps / SRE Engineer (Cloud, AWS) An established and growing software company is building a new cloud-native SaaS product in AWS and is looking for a Senior DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to help define and scale its platform.
This is a hands-on role within a small product engineering team, focused on building the DevOps/SRE foundations rather than operating an existing large-scale system.
There is no dedicated Ops/SRE team yet, so you will play a key role in shaping tooling, processes, and best practices.
The Role Design and evolve AWS infrastructure for a cloud SaaS platform Define and implement Infrastructure as Code, observability, and reliability standards Work closely with software engineers to improve deployment, monitoring, and security practices Help build a secure, scalable platform to support the launch of a new cybersecurity product Act as a driver of change in a small, collaborative engineering environment Required Experience 3+ years in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role Strong experience with AWS, containers, and Kubernetes Hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similar) Experience supporting Java-based applications Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (. Datadog, Grafana) Solid understanding of secure software development practices Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Nice to Have Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Elasticsearch) Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (. GitHub Actions) Knowledge of cloud security and security tooling Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO *****, GDPR) Previous leadership or team-enablement experience Why Apply?
