Procurement Manager Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement and sourcing functions to drive innovation and excellence in all we do.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop short and long-term category strategies
* Source and negotiate with suppliers
* Purchase commodities, services, and goods
* Manage vendor selection and project material sourcing/planning/scheduling
Process Improvement:
* Create efficient integrated processes among internal functions and external partners
* Provide an efficient and transparent customer experience compliant with quality assurance and sustainability requirements
* Focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various processes
Team Leadership:
* Coordinate team members assigned to your area of responsibility
* Recruit, integrate, train, and performance manage team members
* Motivate team members towards achieving company goals, values, and culture
Communication:
* Monitor Communication budget evolution
* Identify deviations between real and foreseen budgets
* Take corrective measures
We are seeking a candidate with 7+ years of relevant experience in complex and competitive industries, preferably in large corporations. SAP experience is mandatory. The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation skills, fluency in English, and solid knowledge of procurement management principles and practices.
