Job Description Our client is expanding its Environmental Team and is currently seeking an experienced Senior Hydrogeologist/Hydrologist and/or Principal Hydrogeologist/Hydrologist. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team based in Dublin, collaborating on challenging and exciting projects within the private and public sector. The team based in Dublin includes a diverse group of environmental professionals including consultants, geologists, hydrogeologists, chemists, acoustic engineers, and environmental scientists. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to scope and deliver projects in line with client requirements. Candidates should possess good interpersonal skills, be driven, and work well in a team environment. A balance of technical, communication/written, and field skills is essential to contribute flexibly to various projects. For the right candidate, we will consider remote work within the EU, with regular travel to Ireland required. Responsibilities Technical report writing. Providing leadership by overseeing, guiding, and managing junior team members and sub-consultants to meet project requirements effectively. Communicating with clients, external stakeholders, regulatory bodies, and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with all project requirements. Assisting in project and program management for large and complex projects, including post-planning approval assistance. Preparation of proposals tailored to client needs. Requirements MSc in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology, or related disciplines. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the environmental sector. Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently. High attention to detail, excellent report writing, and communication skills. Ability to solve problems and synthesize complex data into clear, concise reports. Capacity to meet tight deadlines and adapt to internal reporting structures. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work autonomously and within a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications Over 5 years of relevant experience. Full clean driving license or working towards one. Membership or chartership of recognized environmental professional bodies such as IEMA, IGI, IAH, CIWEM. Experience in EIA support, including chapters and reports. Experience in EPA Waste/IED/IPC Licensing Applications or Waste Facility Permits. Experience in contaminated land assessment, risk assessment, and remediation.
