Job Description
We are seeking a talented and driven Meeting & Events Operations Manager to lead our dynamic events operation at Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo, part of Radisson Hotel Group—one of the world’s leading hospitality brands.
This role is perfect for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives on managing conferences, banquets, weddings, and corporate functions. You'll ensure every event is delivered with precision, personality, and Radisson’s Yes I Can! service.

Key Responsibilities of Meeting & Events Operations Manager
* Manage the end-to-end delivery of all M&E operations, from setup to service execution
* Lead, inspire, and schedule a team of M&E supervisors, waitstaff, and porters
* Liaise with the sales and reservations team to understand client requirements
* Ensure seamless communication between departments (kitchen, FOH, housekeeping, etc.)
* Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction
* Optimize event flow, staffing, floorplans, and delegate experiences
* Monitor and improve KPIs including guest feedback scores, event profitability, and upselling
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety and licensing requirements
Support team training, onboarding, and Radisson brand standard implementation
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years in a Meeting & Events Manager, Banqueting Manager, or C&B Supervisor role or Assistant Meeting & Events Operations Manager role.
* Proven track record in hotel-based events operations, preferably within a branded hotel
* Experience managing weddings, conferences, gala dinners, and hybrid events
* Strong leadership and organizational skills with attention to detail
* Confident handling multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
* Familiarity with systems like Opera, Delphi, or other event scheduling tools
* Food safety certification and first aid training desirable
