Accounts Payable Specialist
An established and growing regional Airline is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its finance team based at Dublin Airport.
This is a full-time, permanent role within a close-knit organisation known for collaboration, clear communication and a strong sense of shared purpose.
Role
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Lead, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely and well-controlled processing of supplier accounts.
The position offers exposure to a high-volume, operationally complex environment, with opportunities to contribute to process improvement and system optimisation.
Responsibilities
Process and validate supplier invoices and credit notes accurately and on time
Prepare, review and monitor weekly payment runs in line with agreed terms
Complete monthly supplier statement reconciliations, resolving discrepancies efficiently
Support the development and maintenance of internal controls and AP procedures
Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Provide day-to-day support to the Accounts Payable Team Lead and wider finance function
Assist with ad hoc finance tasks as required
About You
1-2 years experience in an Accounts Payable role is essential
Comfortable working independently, managing deadlines and taking ownership of deliverables
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to supplier queries
Well-developed problem-solving and analytical abilities
Aviation or transport sector experience is beneficial, though not essential
