Accounts Assistant
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and developing efficient processes to maintain the integrity of our accounting records and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our financial records.
* Administer accounts receivable ledger and oversee credit control, ensuring timely payment from customers.
* Manage accounts payable ledger and process payment runs, maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
* Maintain fixed asset register, accurately tracking company assets.
* Support reconciliations of control accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Part-qualified accountant (IATI qualified or equivalent) with a minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar role.
* Knowledge in using cloud-based accounting packages, preferably Xero.
* Proficiency in Microsoft packages, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* The ability to multi-task, show initiative, and work to deadlines.
* The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally.
