Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and organised Solar PV Scheduler to join our team. This role will primarily involve coordinating the installation schedules for solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, liaising with subcontractors, and ensuring excellent communication with customers. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and excellent interpersonal skills to manage relationships with both subcontractors and customers.

Responsibilities:

* Project Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules for solar PV installations, considering factors such as project scope, resource availability, and customer preferences.
* Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors to schedule installation appointments, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects while meeting customer expectations.
* Customer Liaison: Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding installation scheduling, providing updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving scheduling conflicts promptly and professionally.
* Communication: Maintain open and clear communication channels with subcontractors and customers, providing regular updates on project schedules, milestones, and any changes or delays.
* Resource Management: Manage the allocation of resources (e.g., equipment, personnel) to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity in project scheduling and execution.
* Problem-Solving: Identify potential scheduling conflicts or challenges and proactively develop solutions to mitigate risks and minimise disruptions to project timelines.
* Quality Assurance: Ensure that all installations are scheduled and completed according to quality standards, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate records of project schedules, installation appointments, customer communications, and any relevant documentation.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline scheduling processes, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction through feedback and evaluation.

Requirements:

* Proven experience in project scheduling, coordination, or customer service, preferably in the solar PV or construction industry.
* Familiarity with scheduling software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Etc) is preferred.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with subcontractors, customers, and team members.
* Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in scheduling and documentation.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Knowledge of solar PV systems and installation processes is a plus but not required.
* Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and business needs in a fast-paced environment.
