Key Role in Administrative Support
This position plays a key role in supporting the team's objectives while ensuring outstanding customer service.
* Develops and maintains relationships with departments and team members.
* Communicates professionally with customers via email, phone, and online platforms.
* Identifies spare parts using online resources across divisions.
* Raises sales orders, purchase orders, and invoicing for internal departments and customers.
* Processes part details to provide information and pricing for effective ordering.
* Communicates with the broader team about issues concerning parts identification and procurement.
* Assists in establishing communication with customers regarding delays in parts requirements.
* Responds promptly to internal and external customers, knowing who to approach for additional support.
* Contributes to departmental meetings, suggesting ways to enhance administrative functions and system processes.
* Manages personal time schedule and productivity.
* Takes initiative to establish progress with supplier orders and identifies when follow-up is required.
* Processes Field Service engineer spare parts returns, both new and used.
* Updates warranty returns log and communicates with service administrators to clear WIP.
* Processes returns to designated factory – new parts, warranty, and service exchange.
Person Specification:
* Leaving cert or equivalent education.
* Experience in construction plant or transport distribution industry.
* Able to identify skills applied in parts, warranty, or service departments.
* Smart and well-presented individual.
* Team player with good communication skills at all levels.
* Flexible approach to work.
* Ability to travel UK & Ireland as required.
* Keeps up to date on technical skills and knowledge.
