Job Description
This is a challenging role within our Engineering Department. As a Manufacturing Engineer Technician III, you will be directly involved in achieving our mission to alleviate pain, restore health, and extend life.
Your primary responsibilities will include performing a variety of duties in the Electronic, Mechanical, Electromechanical and Optical areas. You will also be responsible for constructing, troubleshooting, calibrating, adjusting, testing, diagnosing, and maintaining equipment, devices or systems.
In addition, you will develop Engineering solutions using DMAIC methodology, work from schematics, Engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions, conduct tests and report data in prescribed I.T. format, perform alignment checks, modifications and replacements as directed; prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
You will provide technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, IT and product development. Responsible for the installation, calibration and preventative maintenance of on-line process equipment.
Responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and control of appropriate documentation outlining product processing work steps. Provide technical support to Lean Sigma initiatives/continuous improvement projects or other task/project teams as required.
Assist with Engineering and Manufacturing training. Support and participate in corrective/preventive action procedures and support the collection and trending of product line metrics.
