What you’ll do
The Senior Compliance Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the Head of Risk & Compliance and in ensuring that BCMGlobal ASI Limited complies with the requirements set by the Central Bank of Ireland and other regulators.
The Senior Manager, Compliance will be involved in the following activities:
* You will be required to support the Head of Risk & Compliance in leading the Compliance strategic agenda across BCMGlobal ASI Limited;
* Developing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient service delivery, whilst driving a culture of continuous improvement, is a key part of this role.
* Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all compliance functional activities as directed by the Head of Risk & Compliance, including (but not limited to):
* Provide subject matter expertise to business stakeholders on the application of the Central Bank Codes of Conduct, Data Protection and Credit Servicing legalisation
* Support the Head of Risk & Compliance with the delivery of the annual compliance plan;
* Manage and maintain Compliance owned policies and procedures in relation to Central Bank of Ireland and Credit Servicing legislation
* Manage the horizon scanning programme and lead the implementation by the business of regulatory change applicable to the Credit Servicing environment
* Investigate compliance issues and regulatory matters arising and if required, escalate appropriately to the Head of Risk & Compliance
* Support the Head of Risk & Compliance on all reporting requirements to internal and external stakeholders
* Manage all correspondence, reporting and other contact with the Central Bank of Ireland in consultation with the Head of Risk & Compliance
* Such other duties and responsibilities, as requested from time to time, that are commensurate with the jobholder’s knowledge, skill and experience

* Support the Head of Risk & Compliance in driving a highly motivated and engaged team of Risk and Compliance professionals.
* Own your own development maintain and implement personal development plan in partnership with line manager
* Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient service delivery, and fostering a culture of Risk and Compliance awareness through all interactions
* Governance & Risk
* Supporting the Head of Risk and Compliance in the delivery of the Board approved annual Compliance programme of work
* Ensuring appropriate reporting of risks to key internal and external stakeholders
* Supporting the business in the identification and mitigation of Compliance risk
What you’ll bring
* Minimum of five to seven years financial services experience in compliance, risk, audit or a control role, including at least two years in a general compliance role.
* A strong understanding of the applicable regulatory Codes of Conduct and Data Protection legislation Credit Servicing Firms.
* Excellent communication skills, analytic skills and adherence to the highest ethical standards.
* A good understanding and experience of Credit Servicing and associated banking processes, financial products and/or systems.
* An aptitude for the compliance discipline being able to effectively identify compliance issues and guide the business to the right outcome adopting a customer first approach.
* Good organisational skills with ability to prioritise, multi-task, and meet deadlines while working in a fast paced and agile environment, and to motivate and lead other team members to do so also.
* Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and adept at developing and managing collaborative relationships.
* The Compliance Institute Professional Diploma in Compliance is advantageous.
