Working within a team, the duties of the Quality Control Officer will include:Quality inspections at all Quality Control Points within our process flow.Making decisions and taking actions based on the outcome of these inspections.Completion of Inspection Reports for Suppliers and Customers as required.Interacting with Supplier and Customer Technical and Quality Control representatives as required.Compiling Grading Instructions for Production where necessary.Overseeing Quality Management requirements through the Production function.Performing Shelf Life Analysis.Maintaining HACCP Registers.Performing In-house audits in line with QMS and HACCP requirements.Own car preferable but not essentialPerson specificationGood written and verbal communication skills.A degree in Food Science or current study in a related field.Candidates with a background in catering often adapt well to this role and are encouraged to apply.A valid driver's license and the ability to drive would be an advantage.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentBenefits:Company pensionOn-site parkingProfit sharingWork Location: In person
