HR Role Summary
This role involves managing the recruitment process, maintaining accurate employee records and providing administrative support to ensure an efficient people-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the full recruitment cycle for hourly-paid roles, from advertising through onboarding.
* Maintain up-to-date employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with regulations.
* Provide high-quality administrative support including letters, contracts, forms, and employee documentation.
* Guide and support managers in applying HR policies and processes effectively.
* Coordinate investigations as part of disciplinary procedures, documenting all findings.
* Produce weekly HR metrics reports and maintain internal communication boards, fostering a positive work environment.
* Liaise with payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate information flow.
* Organize annual employee medicals and coordinate occupational health activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A degree in Human Resources or a related field is essential.
* Previous HR experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of employment law and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence line managers.
* Effective organizational and time management abilities, prioritizing multiple tasks.
* Discreet and professional approach when handling confidential information.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with HRIS systems such as OpenHR and Crown is advantageous.
