Temporary Physiotherapy Assistant
Location:
Northeast Kildare CHN, Celbridge Primary Care Centre, Celbridge, Kildare
Duration:
3-6 months initial contract
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapy Assistant to join our primary care team temporarily.
The successful candidate will support physiotherapists in delivering high-quality care to patients, ensuring effective treatment and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist physiotherapists with patient assessments and treatment plans.
Prepare and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
Guide patients through exercises and rehabilitation programs.
Monitor patient progress and report to the physiotherapist.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Educate patients on exercises and lifestyle changes to aid recovery.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant or similar role.
Knowledge of physiotherapy techniques and practices.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be a resident in Ireland and hold one of the following: EU passport or GNIB card with Stamp 1G, Stamp 2, Stamp 4, Stamp 4D, Stamp 5, or 4 EUFam.
Willing to undergo Garda Vetting.
International Police Clearance required (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
