Job Title: Regulatory / Certification Officer Location - Naas Maternity Leave contract - commencing March 2026 (9 months) Our client is seeking to recruit a Certification Officer to join our Inspection & Certification team, reporting directly to the Certification Team Leader. This role is central to the delivery of the Inspection and Certification process, managing member files from application through to certification, and providing high-quality support to a large membership base. Key Responsibilities include: Managing the client's Inspection and Certification process from start to finish Day-to-day administration of member certification files, including compliance follow-up Preparing documentation and participating in Certification Panel (CP) meetings Coordinating inspections, sampling, inspector meetings and audit activity Processing new applications, renewals, annual returns and lapsing members Acting as a key point of contact for members, providing timely updates and customer support Ensuring reporting and compliance with INAB, DAFM and EU Regulations Skills & Experience Required: Qualification in agriculture and/or experience in the organic sector preferred 2-3 years in a similar role - agriculture / farming Strong attention to detail and ability to see tasks through to completion Fact-based decision-making skills High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and database systems Excellent communication and customer service skills Experience with standards, certification, or government bodies an advantage NOTE - this is a contract position for 9 months and suitable applicants must be able to commit to the duration of the contract.
