The client –
Our client is a global, market leading Corporate Services organisation based in the IFSC. They are in the process of embarking on an ambitious growth plan which will be achieved through strong organic growth, the entrance to new markets and completion of acquisitions.
With the above in mind, they are looking for newly qualified accountants to join their team on a full-time basis.
Role responsibilities –
Reporting directly to the team's Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will be tasked with managing a portfolio of clients which will include the following –
1. Financial reporting and preparing monthly/quarterly/annual management and statutory accounts under IFRS and Irish GAAP and supporting consolidation accounting requirements under IFRS;
2. Ensuring that all accounting obligations for their allocated Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs)/clients are fulfilled;
3. Liaising with external parties (as and when required) such as auditors and tax advisors and manage related scheduling issues
4. Processing tax assessments and filings, VAT and corporation tax (including deferred tax calculations)
About you –
5. You will be ACA/ ACCA/ CPA Qualified
6. Have 4 -5 years' experience working in either practice or Financial Services
7. Practical knowledge of IFRS and Irish generally accepted accounting principles (familiarity with US GAAP an advantage)
8. Operational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation matters
9. Strong written and verbal communication skills
