Production OperatorProduction Operator required for Cork based manufacturing facility.Position – full time permanentThe operator must be capable of working as part of a very flexible team in a demanding, regulated environment. They are required to proactively contribute to the delivery of manufacturing targets within quality, safety and environmental requirements and on schedule.Main Tasks:Production of resin (using DCS process instructions)Load tankersEnsure all paperwork is properly completedMonitoring of all plant and process equipmentLoading and offloading of raw materialsEnsure that the workplace and ancillary facilities are maintained in a clean and tidy state at all timesEnsure that changeovers of both equipment and production areas are carried out in an efficient and effective manner.Take and deliver samples to the laboratory; and if required complete any in-process testingCarry out minor repairs/adjustments to plant and ancillary equipment where possible and as authorised.General site maintenance (includes outdoor work)Adhere at all times and in full to all Health, Safety and Environmental policies, procedures and regulations.Be available on occasion to fill in on shift if required.Relevant ExperienceA good standard of education is requiredSeveral years' experience in a chemical production environment essentialExperience handling and working with hazardous chemicalsDistributed Control System (DCS) experience essential (Delta V experience preferable)Diligent approach to Health and Safety required.Fork truck and Loadall experience an advantageThe ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.Key Skills & CompetenciesFlexible, willing and positive attitude / mindsetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent planning, scheduling and prioritisation abilityExcellent documentation skills and attention to detail.Excellent PC and systems skillsAbility to work as part of a team essentialJob Types: Full-time, PermanentEducation:Leaving Certificate (preferred)Experience:Manufacturing: 2 years (preferred)Work Location: In personReference ID: MCOPNOV25
