Pharmacy Technician Job Overview
Job Description:
The role of a pharmacy technician is to provide technical support in the preparation and dispensing of medications under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist. A pharmacy technician's duties may include receiving, processing, and filling prescriptions; managing stock levels; maintaining patient records; and performing administrative tasks.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Experience working as a pharmacy technician in an Irish Pharmacy for at least one year.
* A good knowledge of MPS (Medicines Pricing Scheme).
* Ability to work evening and weekend shifts with flexibility.
* Possession of qualifications such as Pharmacy Technician Diploma or Certificate (not essential but preferred).
