This pivotal role combines technical quality management with strong commercial awareness, ensuring products are safe, legal, compliant and fit for purpose across all markets. Package Generous salary doe Bonus Relocation package Pension Health Excellent scope for career development Responsibilities of this Garment Technologist include: Ensure all product development and supply complies with international Quality Assurance Standards & Regulations. Apply strong technical expertise in garment construction, fit, and testing across multiple categories. Partner with Buying and Design to deliver commercially viable, safe, compliant products at entry, mid, and exit price points. Lead product testing and compliance reviews, including children's safety standards, sign-off, and approval processes. Benchmark quality against competitors and maintain the company's reputation for value and performance. Work with Compliance and Sourcing teams to ensure adherence to industry standards and emerging legislation. Identify and resolve quality issues in the supply base, collaborating with offshore and supplier teams. Monitor returns data, customer complaints, and inspection reports to improve future deliveries. Provide training and guidance to Buyers, QA, and suppliers on best practice for quality assurance. Represent QA in supplier meetings, departmental updates, and cross-functional projects. Influence senior stakeholders on quality-related decision-making. Responsibilities of this Garment Technologist include: Proven technical expertise in garment product development. Strong knowledge of product testing standards, safety requirements, and compliance processes. Commercial awareness of value/volume retail and ability to balance cost, compliance, and speed to market. Experience managing supplier relationships and driving improvements in quality performance. Skilled in risk assessment, report writing, and compliance evaluation. Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, including at senior level. Experience coaching and training colleagues and suppliers. Proactive, solution-focused, and detail-driven with a passion for delivering safe, legal, and quality products. Why Apply?
