* Based at Dublin Airport, this position involves the processing of customer requests and queries in a prompt, accurate and efficient manner
* Receive and process cargo telephone reservations and email communications in a prompt, accurate and efficient manner.
* Process customer booking requests and offer best possible solution considering revenue, contribution and capacity opportunities or constraints
* Monitor and oversee the service provided by our Ground Handling Agent to ensure it is in line with EK standards, including build instruction, maximisation of available space, safety and special handling requirements
* Prepare flight handling reports including identification and monitoring of irregularities and discrepancies
* Complete administrative duties as directed by the Cargo Supervisor, including statistics and reports
* Handle Customer requests for ad hoc quotes, in coordination with Pricing and Capacity Control departments
* Complete AWB stock transactions
* Provide support in cargo commercial and operational activities as required
Qualification
Qualifications/Experience
* Educated to the minimum standard equivalent of the Irish Leaving Certificate
* Previous knowledge and experience within the air cargo and/or airport operations segments
* Awareness of IATA cargo standards and procedures. Cargo acceptance handling, knowledge of air cargo product
* Understanding of dangerous goods and pharmaceutical shipping procedures would be advantageous
* Knowledge and experienced user of computerised reservations system would be advantageous
* Ability to work on own initiative as well as being part of a team
* Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace moving environment
* Strong communication skills both oral and written
* Fluent in spoken and written English
* A good appreciation of the concept of customer service
* Ability to proactively solve problems
* Analytical and numeracy skills
* PC based skills including Microsoft Word/ Excel/ E-mail
* Willing and able to work shifts, including weekends
* Full Valid Irish/EU Driving License
