Job Title: Chief Pharmacist Officer
The role of the Chief Pharmacist Officer is to oversee the pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with legal responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the dispensary, exercising all aspects of law, ethics, and codes of practice as laid down by the relevant authorities.
Main Responsibilities
* Operate the dispensary in accordance with all legal responsibilities.
* Exercise all aspects of law, ethics, and codes of practice as laid down by the Irish Pharmaceutical Society.
* Provide a safe and efficient dispensing service to all customers.
* Ensure the safe and effective delivery of medicines to all customers.
* Interact with other health professionals.
* Manage monthly submissions to payment boards.
* Proactively manage and follow up on rejected claims.
* Build and maintain relationships with local doctors and other health professionals.
* Solicit new business opportunities through proactive approaches to nursing homes and other relevant institutions.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmacy management.
* Hold a PSI-approved Pharmacy Qualification and be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland.
* Able to handle high-volume dispensing.
