Foreman Civil Infrastructure A Foreman is required for a well-established contractor delivering civil infrastructure projects across Clare and Limerick.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Foreman to join a growing team and support the successful delivery of a range of civil engineering projects.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil infrastructure and will be responsible for supervising site operations, coordinating crews, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Duties: Supervise day-to-day site operations on civil infrastructure projects across Clare and Limerick.
Coordinate site crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure work is completed efficiently.
Ensure all works are carried out in line with project plans, specifications, and schedules.
Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Engineers to maintain project progress.
Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed to the required quality standards.
Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure all site activities comply with company policies.
Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks with site staff.
Assist with scheduling, material deliveries, and resource planning.
Maintain accurate site records and report progress to the Project Manager.
Liaise with engineers, consultants, and local authorities when required.
Requirements: 5+ years experience in a Foreman or Supervisory role within civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
Strong experience in civil infrastructure projects such as roads, drainage, utilities, or public works.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage site teams effectively.
Good knowledge of health and safety regulations within the Irish construction industry.
Ability to read and interpret drawings and project specifications.
Eligible to work in Ireland.
Full driving licence.
Salary and Benefits: Salary circa €60k€70k depending on experience.
