Job Description
Impactful Projects: M21 Adare Bypass, Carlow Southern Relief Road & Multi Modal Corridor, N4 Mullingar to Longford, TII Luas Programme, NTA BusConnects Programme, and over 300 km of Greenways.
Multidisciplinary Exposure: Early feasibility, statutory consent, detailed design, construction support, and contract administration.
Structured Career Progression: Mentorship, coaching, formal technical and leadership training, and exposure to client account management.
Your Role & Responsibilities
Deliver and coordinate design packages on complex infrastructure programmes.
Lead engineering design on major highways, bus infrastructure, and active travel schemes from concept to construction stage.
Ensure all deliverables meet AECOM quality standards and are managed effectively within time and budget.
Work within multidisciplinary teams, interrogating outputs from other disciplines.
Engage clients, local authorities, and stakeholders, guiding through statutory approval processes.
Support and coach junior engineers.

Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Civil Engineering or similar (BSc, BEng, MEng, MSc).
Post‑graduation experience in civil engineering, road design, greenways, public transport, or major highways.
Working knowledge of TII Publications/Standards.
Solid understanding of DMURS and NTA Cycle Design Manual.
Experience preparing contract documents (Public Works Contract forms).
Experience with statutory planning and design approvals in Ireland.
