HR Business Partner Job Description
This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive HR support to the business, working closely with both the business and HR colleagues to develop and implement effective HR solutions aligned with company strategy.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will be able to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization and provide expert advice on HR-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide HR support to the business, including recruitment, attendance, health management, grievance, disciplinary and capability investigations, and hearings.
2. Support and coach managers and employees in utilizing performance management processes.
3. Manage Employee Relations issues and coach people managers from a case management perspective.
4. Provide senior HR manager and human resource director with efficient, timely, and accurate information to enable forward planning and measurement of staffing-related activities.
5. Propose HR initiatives in line with business objectives.
6. Enhance staff performance and support employee development.
7. Maintain a healthy, safe, and respectful work environment.
8. Work as a strategic business partner with other department managers and supervisors to ensure HR talent management goals and objectives are achieved.
9. Review and manage general affairs, including office management and company activities.
10. Prepare company policies and ensure the company handbook is kept up to date.
11. Ensure labor/disciplinary cases are carried out timely and in compliance with company policies and due process requirements.
12. Implement disciplinary action properly.
13. Provide recommendations on case decisions and appropriate corrective actions.
Requirements:
* Must be highly efficient, results-focused, and have a keen attention to detail.
* 5 years experience in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role preferably in a FMCG environment.
* The ideal candidate will ideally have worked in an individual or standalone HR role.
* Highly organized and detail-oriented.
