Job Description:
The Naval Service’s offshore patrol vessel, LÉ William Butler Yeats (P63), will be open to the public for tours when berthed in Killybegs Harbour on 8 June. This event is part of a recruitment campaign by the Naval Service.
The vessel, part of the OPV90 P60 class, is operated by a crew of 44, including 6 officers. It was commissioned in 2016 and has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 15 knots, with a top speed of 23 knots.
Public tours will be available from 11am to 1pm and from 2pm to 4pm. Visitors are encouraged to come aboard and inquire about careers in the Naval Service and Naval Reserve.
