Informatica is currently seeking a Principal User Experience Designer to join our team in Dublin, Ireland.As a Principal User Experience Designer, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver a variety of user experiences and hands-on UI designs for our Cloud Data Governance and Privacy products. You will need strong technical, communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to succeed.Technology You’ll UseDesign tools (Figma).Collaboration tools and processes (MS Teams, Confluence, Jira).What You’ll DoPlan and deliver UX designs while working closely with global, cross-functional teams to create innovative user experiences for new and extended data management offerings.Help plan and conduct stakeholder interviews, design workshops, and user research activities.Synthesize results from user research into coherent user experience design solutions.Create information architectures, task flows, user interaction models, wireframe screen flows, prototypes, detailed designs, design briefs, design specifications, and guidelines with minimal direction.Influence product teams and the organization to implement solutions that are best for our customers.Foster a fun, creative, and collaborative spirit.Key Essentials8+ years of experience designing user interfaces and user experiences for web-based enterprise products.An online portfolio demonstrating your design skills in conceptual modeling, information architecture, user flows, information visualization, mock-ups and prototypes.Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field (HCI, Industrial Design, Cognitive Psychology, Graphic Design, etc.).Expert knowledge of user-centered design processes in a product development environment.Proven ability to deliver end-to-end designs, from concept to production-level detailing.Experience developing and communicating UX design guidelines and design specifications.Proven effectiveness in global, cross-functional teams that include product management, engineering, QA, documentation, and other UX professionals.Proficiency in wireframing and prototyping tools.Experience leveraging user research methods, analytics, and other insights to guide product direction.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.What Does Success Look Like?Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while working with other UX designers, researchers, and product team members to apply best practices in information architecture, user experience, and visual design for complex enterprise products.Lead the UX design for assigned topics.Ability to navigate ambiguity, empathize with customers, and effectively persuade stakeholders to secure buy-in for your UX designs.Nice to HaveExperience designing user experiences for enterprise data management products.Experience working with or contributing to design systems.Experience designing the UI framework for a product from inception.
