Factoring in multiple considerations such as property type, location, claims history, and construction to make informed underwriting decisions. You'll work closely with brokers and internal teams to gather information, evaluate risk, and set appropriate terms and premiums in line with delegated authority.You'll also contribute to the ongoing development of underwriting tools, process improvements, and portfolio performance analysis. Supporting the Senior Underwriters and assisting with team workflow and mentorship will also be part of your day-to-day responsibilities.What you'll need to succeedMinimum 2 years' experience in household/property underwriting in IrelandStrong knowledge of the Irish insurance market and CBI regulationsAPA qualified (minimum)Experience underwriting both standard and non-standard home risksSound understanding of risk assessment, flood mapping, and subsidence riskConfident analytical, numerical, and decision-making skillsExcellent communication and relationship management abilitiesAbility to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environmentWhat you'll get in returnYou'll join a company that supports flexible, hybrid working and continuous professional development.
