Chief Executive Officer Role Summary:
Magherafelt Women's Group is seeking a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation in its mission to empower women, children, and families through supportive services, education, and community development.
The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership, comprehensive operational oversight, and ensure the delivery of outstanding services aligned with the organisation's mission.
About the Role:
As CEO, you will be responsible for leading the strategic vision, governance, and advocacy to enhance services and stakeholder engagement. You will also ensure effective delivery and continual improvement of programmes and services, maintaining high standards and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Leadership: Lead the strategic vision, governance, and advocacy to enhance services and stakeholder engagement.
* Operational Management: Ensure effective delivery and continual improvement of programmes and services, maintaining high standards and compliance.
* Financial Sustainability: Develop and oversee robust financial strategies, securing diverse funding sources and maintaining transparent financial practices.
* HR & Staff Leadership: Foster a positive organisational culture, manage human resources effectively, and ensure staff professional development.
* Risk & Compliance: Uphold rigorous safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory compliance across all operations.
* Childcare Facility Management: Collaborate closely with the Childcare Manager to ensure exemplary early years services and regulatory adherence.
* Impact Measurement: Monitor, evaluate, and report on service effectiveness and strategic outcomes, driving continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Essential: Relevant third-level qualification with three years senior management experience OR five years senior management experience in roles related to women, families, and communities.
* Proven leadership in women's sector, community development, or related fields; robust financial management and fundraising expertise.
* Desirable: Experience managing childcare or early years services, voluntary sector governance knowledge, relevant qualifications in management, social work, or early years education.

* Location: Magherafelt, NI
* Salary: £43,000-£48,000 per annum
* Annual Leave Entitlement: 25 Days + 10 Statutory Days
* Contract Type: Permanent (subject to funding)
