Financial Operations Manager
As a Financial Operations Manager, you will take full ownership of the finance function and contribute significantly to the business's financial performance and operational success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage cash flow and working capital, monitoring daily cash position and forecasting short- and medium-term cash flow.
* Oversee supplier payments, debtor collections, and customer payment discipline, building strong relationships with suppliers and managing creditor terms.
* Maintain and manage the general ledger and accounting systems, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
* Prepare and present monthly management accounts and variance analysis, supporting department heads with budget tracking and cost management.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
* 5+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a lead finance role within an SME.
* Strong grasp of cash flow and working capital in a tight-margin environment.
* Experience managing high volumes of transactions.
