Job Description:
The HPEFS CPO Digital Sales Account Manager will be based out of one of our HPE Hubs. They will work closely with our HPEFS Strategic and Growth Sales Teams, and our HPE Sales Teams across HPE. The role is aligned to the HPEFS Global Asset Management Digital Sales Team within HPEFS, and involves working with EMEA and English-speaking countries, with fluency in German and English preferred.
This position involves developing strategies to meet and exceed sales targets, focusing on new customer acquisition and expanding existing accounts, particularly within the HPE Pre-Owned Solutions segment. The role requires close collaboration with the Strategic CPO manager and Field Account Managers.
Responsibilities:
* Seek out new opportunities and expand existing ones to build and manage the pipeline of customers focused on HPE Pre-Owned Solutions.
* Maintain knowledge of competitors to strategically position HPE’s and HPEFS’ products and services.
* Develop account business plans.
* Establish professional, consultative relationships with clients, understanding their unique business needs.
* Contribute to proposal development, negotiations, and deal closings.
* Support account executives with technical expertise and client engagement, including C-level interactions for complex solutions.
* Coordinate with internal and external experts to anticipate customer needs and develop solutions.
Scope and Impact:
* Manage sales efforts within a defined account segment, meeting or exceeding targets.
* Build opportunity pipelines, lead engagement processes, negotiate terms, and develop Statements of Work.
* Ensure seamless transition of opportunities with engagement managers.
* Drive new business through the HPE Services HPE ONELead Program.
* Build strong relationships with senior executives, industry leaders, and partners.
* Develop a strong understanding of the Certified Pre-Owned market and related economics.
* Maintain relationships with cross-functional HPE teams, including Financial Services Sales, and Pre-Sales teams.
Education and Experience:
* Experience in digital/inside sales, preferably in a technology environment.
* Proven track record in sales or business development.
* Experience with HPEFS Asset Management business is advantageous.
* Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
* 1-5 years of digital sales or pre-sales/solution architect experience.
* Fluency in German and English is preferable.
Knowledge and Skills:
* Expertise in products, solutions, or services, including competitor offerings.
* Understanding of value propositions, financial, operational, and sustainability objectives.
* Knowledge of industry and market segments for consultative selling.
* Familiarity with financial solutions related to IT Certified Pre-Owned.
* Strong account planning and revenue forecasting skills.
Competencies:
* Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Technical knowledge of HPE products is an advantage.
* Understanding of IT industry trends and key products.
* Creative development of end-to-end solutions.
