Your Role
Plan and deliver General English and Special Interest (SPIN) courses as directed by the DOS or ADOS
Plan and deliver lectures on a rota basis
Choose appropriate supplementary material and topics for your classes. These must at all times demonstrate sensitivity to the multi-cultural and multi-ethnic student population in EF schools
Cover absent colleagues as requested by the DOS or ADOS
Participate in peer observation programmes
Attend and contribute to staff meetings (weekly)
Input grades for students in iTracker on a fortnightly basis
Write student reports when required
Administer tests to the class when necessary and to mark them and return all documents to DOS or ADOS
Be an ambassador for EF and its products, methods and materials
Maintain necessary paperwork as directed by the school administration and carry out administrative duties accordingly
Maintain accurate electronic registers and input student attendance daily into the EF database in accordance with EF policy
Comply with all health and safety regulations as directed by the Health and Safety Officer
Requirements
CELTA / equivalent qualification
Degree
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Passion for international education and student success
Highly organized with attention to detail
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
All offers are subject to a clear Garda check and two references
Legally able to work in Ireland at commencement of employment
