Qualified Accountant required with 3-5 years in management accounting construction, civil engineering, or a project-based environment.

Responsibilities Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet reconciliations, and cashflow analysis.
Support month-end and year-end close processes in line with statutory deadlines, along with various statutory reporting.
Prepare VAT returns and support RCT processes, and other construction-specific tax requirements in Ireland.
Maintain Plant and Fixed Asset Register.
Assist with audit queries and liaise with external auditors as required.
Assist in the development and improvement of financial controls, systems, and processes.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and project reporting.
Assist with job costing, including labour, plant, materials, subcontractors, and overhead allocations.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and relevant accounting standards.
Support ad hoc projects, analyses, and business initiatives as they arise.
Key Requirements: Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
Minimum 3–5 years' experience in a management accounting role, ideally within construction, civil engineering, or a project-based environment.
Advanced Excel skills.
Knowledge of Irish VAT, RCT, and construction industry practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Commercially aware with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders.
