Vacancy: BECEE Research Assistant Part time (Part-Time, Specified Purpose up to April 2027)
Contract: Part time (3 days per week) Specified Purpose contract up to 30th April 2027
Salary: The gross salary applicable to this post is €35,045 p.a. corresponding to point 3 of the IUA RA rate as at 01/02/2026) on a full-time basis. The salary for the successful candidate will calculated on a pro-rata basis reflecting the part-time nature of the position.
SETU are currently seeking a Research Assistant - to support the BECEE team until April 2027. We are seeking a self motivated individual who enjoys working with large groups of people in a dynamic environment. BECEE, the Balanced and Enhanced Collaboration for an Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, funded through the EIT Higher Education Initiative, is a transformative project aimed at creating a sustainable, dynamic ecosystem that fosters entrepreneurship and innovation across European higher education institutions (HEIs). This initiative leverages the Greenhouse Framework, a versatile model structured around the phases of Germination, Growth, Scaling, and Transplantation, to nurture entrepreneurial talent, support startup development, and address critical societal challenges, including sustainability, digital transformation, and health innovation.
BECEE brings together four forward-looking higher education institutions-Hanze University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands), Zurich University of Applied Sciences (Switzerland), South East Technological University (Ireland), and Universiteti "Aleksandr Moisiu" Durrs (Albania)-working in tandem with four innovation-driven enterprises: KPN (Eindhoven, Netherlands), Innofuse (Zurich, Switzerland), Dungarvan Enterprise Centre (Ireland), and Linda Laboratory (Durrs, Albania). The successful candidate will work under the guidance and supervision of the SETU BECEE team and will support in both operational and strategic duties and tasks.
