PE Global Healthcare in partnership with our client a leading provider services to children and adults with disabilities and their families from over 40 locations in 14 counties, covering childhood to adulthood their expert teams work with the individual and their family are now inviting applicants to apply for the role of Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM2) Person in Charge for their East Cork Adult Services.

Benefits and Salary
The current salary scale for this post is €57,103 to €67,901 per annum. This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual leave: Annual leave entitlement is between 34-37 days, dependent on experience and proportionately less for less than 12 months' service.

Responsibilities :
Overall Purpose of the Post:
The Respite Services Coordinator/Person in Charge (PIC) will be responsible for the overall management of the Respite Services for adults based in East Cork. This includes PIC responsibility for the residential respite service, the management of staff and providing the highest standards of residential respite and alternative respite services and individualised packages of care when required.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and implementation of the service's policies and procedures
supporting best care and practice in disability services. The main responsibilities include working in partnership with service owners, their
representatives/families, resource management, ensuring a safe, effective service to service owners, staff development, standard setting and monitoring,
facilitating communication and managing staff teams to deliver the service. The post holder will also have a lead role in the management and monitoring of risk, safeguarding and Health and Safety across adult respite and day services.

Demonstrate skills in delivering a quality service within a fixed budget.
Demonstrate a commitment to the delivery of a quality respite service and always
respond to the changing needs of all service owners who use this service.
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate all personal plans from initial assessment
or new service owners to the service to existing service owners.

Criteria
Must be registered with An Bord Altranais as a Registered Nurse
Are registered in a Division by the register of Nurses
A recognised, validated University Degree or an equivalent qualification in Nursing
Have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification full-time experience
Have a recognised management qualification
Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development
Have a minimum of 3 years working at a senior level, or in a supervisory capacity
Have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with Children/Adults with disabilities (physical disability, autism,
learning disability) and their families
Demonstrate the ability to provide staff supervision training and development
Have a working knowledge of HIQA Guidance for the Assessment of Centres for persons with Disabilities, regulations
and inspection requirements
