Automation Equipment Engineer II
As a seasoned professional, you will play a key role in supporting new and existing manufacturing equipment, focusing on automation and continuous improvement. Your expertise will drive production goals of quality, delivery, cost, and safety.
* Documentation: Develop detailed specifications, design, development, and testing documentation for new equipment and automated systems.
* System Knowledge: Apply expertise in various automation systems, including PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens), HMIs, vision systems, robotics, PC software, and databases.
* Troubleshooting: Analyze complex automated equipment to identify and resolve issues.
* Code Management: Develop, test, and install code changes under strict change control procedures, maintaining comprehensive documentation.
* Project Management: Participate in cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and meet quality standards.
* Optimization: Identify and implement equipment and system upgrades using metrics like Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with EHS standards and quality system requirements.
