Job Description
Singapore Vinga International Pte Ltd is seeking a senior Director of Operations to lead the strategic and operational management of its student accommodation portfolio in Singapore.
The role will be responsible for overseeing current accommodation operations, managing service delivery standards, and driving the development and operationalisation of new accommodation assets, including the upcoming new student residence projrect.
This position requires both operational leadership and project execution capabilities, with accountability for performance, compliance, and long-term scalability of the accommodation business.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
Lead and oversee the end-to-end operations of student accommodation assets, including occupancy strategy, resource allocation, and operational performance
Develop and implement operational frameworks, policies, and service standards to support business scalability
Analyse operational data and performance metrics to drive efficiency, utilisation, and service improvements
Accommodation & Resident Operations
Oversee resident lifecycle management including onboarding, stay experience, andissue resolution
Ensure consistent delivery of service quality and operational reliability across accommodation sites
Implement structured processes for occupancy planning, inventory management, andservice coordination
Asset & Project Management
Lead the operational planning and execution of new accommodation developments, including the Norfolk Road project
Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and service providers to ensure timely project delivery and operational readiness
Support asset utilisation planning and contribute to long-term accommodation capacity strategy
Financial & Business Operations
Oversee operational budgeting, cost control, and revenue-related processes linked to accommodation services
Work closely with finance to ensure accurate billing, reconciliation, and financial tracking
Identify opportunities for operational optimisation and cost efficiency
Team & Stakeholder Management
Lead and supervise operational staff, ensuring accountability and performance alignment
Coordinate across internal functions and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations
Provide regular reporting to management on operational performance, risks, and improvement initiatives
Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with relevant regulatory, safety, and operational requirements
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
Maintain proper documentation, process governance, and operational controls
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Management, Hospitality, Real Estate, or related disciplines
At least 5 years of relevant experience in operations management, asset management, or accommodation-related fields
Proven experience in managing operations and leading teams
Experience in project coordination, new site setup, or operational scaling will be an advantage
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and projects concurrently
Additional Information
This is a full-time position based in Singapore
This role involves both operational leadership and project execution responsibilities
Occasional travel may be required for business coordination, project development, or stakeholder engagement
Suitable for candidates with experience in managing operational businesses and scaling service-based operations
