The primary responsibility of the Domestic Sales Executive will be to drive growth in the domestic central heating sector through effective lead management and securing new customers in line with our strategic objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with the Territory Development Manager and the wider Calor team, developing relationships with key stakeholders such as the Home Energy Support Team, Marketing Team, Installers, Specifiers, and Builders. They will play a crucial role in meeting sales targets by managing leads, engaging with customers, signing contracts, and coordinating installations to ensure a seamless customer experience. This position requires an energetic and driven individual with strong interpersonal skills.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the company.
2. Manage, nurture, and convert marketing and specifier generated leads into new domestic customers.
3. Maintain a high conversion rate from lead to signed contract and first fill.
4. Sign contracts with customers, ensuring clear understanding of terms and conditions.
5. Conduct site visits and complete Tank Site and Access Reports for compliant tank placement.
6. Collaborate with the Territory Development Manager and their network of key specifiers and installers within the region.
7. Meet with customers to understand their energy needs; apply a consultative selling approach, identifying needs and proposing solutions with compelling value propositions.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and Calor products to communicate benefits effectively.
9. Coordinate the installation process by handing over contracts to the Home Energy Support Team.
10. Represent Calor professionally at events to promote the brand and products.
11. Work with internal teams to ensure an effective sales process and positive customer experience.
12. Utilise IT systems (CRM, Qliksense, Microsoft Office) for reporting and analysis.
13. Participate actively in team meetings.
14. Contribute to a safety-conscious culture by adhering to tank siting standards and acting responsibly.
15. This role involves flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends, and may require travel and overnight stays.
16. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:

1. Proven sales experience.
2. Willingness to learn and adapt to role requirements.
3. High energy, motivation, and drive to pursue leads and drive sales.
4. Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding targets.
5. Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
8. Attention to detail, safety awareness, and organizational skills.
9. Proficiency in IT and new technology.
10. Full clean driving license.
