Fund Accounting Supervisor - Remote

We are currently seeking an experienced
Fund Accounting Supervisor
to join a growing fund accounting team. This role sits within the NAV function and works closely with the Assistant Manager and Manager to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of NAV calculations. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day fund accounting activities while supporting and developing junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and review cash, position and market value reconciliations.
* Investigate and resolve reconciling items in a timely manner.
* Review fund pricing, corporate actions and trade activity.
* Review profit and loss reports to ensure accuracy and reasonableness.
* Review income and expense accruals, including management and performance fees.
* Review fund trial balances and investor profit allocations.
* Ensure adherence to established procedures, controls and internal checklists.
* Liaise with internal service teams to resolve operational and accounting issues.
* Escalate complex or aged issues to the Assistant Manager as required.
* Act as a key point of contact for client queries, ensuring prompt and professional responses.
* Support the audit process, including assistance with the preparation of financial statements.
* Supervise up to four Fund Accountants, providing ongoing guidance, training and performance support.
* Contribute to team development by setting objectives, mentoring staff and monitoring progress.
* Consistently meet internal and external reporting deadlines.

Training & Development

* Comprehensive induction training provided.
* Mandatory AML/KYC training and access to additional optional training.
* Client-specific training supported by the NAV Assistant Manager.
* Exposure to a broad client base within a dynamic operating model.

Requirements

Education

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline.

Experience

* Minimum of 3 years' experience within a hedge fund administration or fund accounting environment.
* Prior experience reviewing NAVs and supervising junior staff is highly desirable.
* Progress towards or interest in pursuing a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA) is advantageous but not essential.

Skills

* Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
* IT literate, with experience working across fund accounting systems.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
