Role Overview
We are seeking an organised and reliable
Site Clerk
to support the day-to-day administrative operations of a busy residential construction site in Navan. The successful candidate will act as a key link between site management, subcontractors, suppliers, and the head office, ensuring accurate records and smooth site administration.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and update site records, including attendance, deliveries, plant logs, and site diaries
* Manage documentation such as drawings, method statements, risk assessments, and permits
* Process delivery dockets, invoices, and timesheets in line with company procedures
* Assist the Site Manager with general administration and reporting requirements
* Coordinate correspondence between site, subcontractors, suppliers, and head office
* File and control health & safety documentation and ensure records are kept up to date
* Answer phone calls, manage emails, and handle general site enquiries
* Support audits and inspections by ensuring documentation is accurate and readily available
Requirements
* Previous experience in a site clerk or construction administration role preferred
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced site environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Familiarity with residential construction processes is an advantage
